Cathy and her Power Hour Coaches also training players privately. Each instructor’s bio and contact information is linked here. All CPH coaches provide their students with in-depth, personalized lessons to improve and build upon the student’s current skill set. Once a technical breakdown is done to analyze strengths and weaknesses, a tailored made program is developed, allowing players at all levels to see measurable results at a manageable pace. Power Hour private lessons include player testing and evaluation. Information is linked here.
Here are some answers to common questions:
How long are the lessons?
Standard private lessons are either 20 or 30 minutes in duration. Semi-private lessons for 2 skaters at the same skill level for 20 or 30 minutes are also available.
What should I wear?
Most players like to wear their helmet, gloves and minimal equipment. Most private lessons are taught during public session, so sticks are not allowed. Full equipment is not needed.
How do I pay for lessons?
Upon arrival to the rink, please pay the admission fee at the front desk for the public ice usage. Coaching fees are paid directly to the instructor for the private lessons.
How often should I have a lesson?
Lessons can range from 1 to 3 times per week. The norm is usually once per week, but if you have specific skills and timeline requirements, more frequent lessons are recommended.
